The Buchanans (Cates’ Band)
The tales of some bands’ genesis are so inconceivable that only destiny could orchestrate their meeting. It was fate then that joined a poor Bolivian immigrant, raised on a struggling jellyfish farm banging rocks together to make rhythms, and a non-verbal singer whose vocal cords were destroyed in a deep-sea fishing accident. The stars aligned for a former national Backgammon champion who learned to play guitar by reading a pamphlet published by Peter Frampton to cross paths with a second guitarist who was simply raised by wolves. A struggling mandolin player, who eats only semi-solid foods and collects moustache hair could only credit providence when he was introduced to a bass player with two left hands and a Guiness world record for distance in projectile sneezing. THIS IS NOT THAT BAND!!! Now introducing for the first time ever, a band with a totally uninteresting story, The Buchanans.
